Guitarist/composer Nathan Kolosko has performed throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He studied with Joanne Castellani of the Castellani-Andriaccio Duo and the legendary Cuban guitarist/composer Ricardo Iznaola. As a composer he has made contributions to the repertoire for solo guitar, guitar ensemble and guitar with other instruments. In 2005 Nathan founded the Experimental Collective, which works to eliminate the boundaries between all artistic disciplines. He is currently collaborating on inter-disciplinary projects with visual artist Ling-Wen Tsai. As a teacher he is regularly invited to workshops and institutes throughout the US and other countries. Nathan Kolosko has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including a grant from the Allied Arts Foundation and D'Addario Strings. In 2001 he was a prizewinner in the MTNA national guitar competition. His debut recording Sonatas & Sonatinas has received praise from many critics.
