Fantaisie sur un thème péruvien du XVIIIe siècle

Here is a pleasant little composition loosely based upon the well-known theme El Condor Pasa and which would make for an ideal encore item. It begins in a serene, delicate manner and then launches off into rapid arpeggios before a very brief interval in a humorous vein (marked «burlesque«) leads onto another fast section, followed by yet another meditative passage which in turn paves the way for the grand finale, comprised of strums and tambour.
A likeable and entertaining composition, weIl presented and suitable for the higher-intermediate player.
