Bellétude, opus 274

Here is another one to add to French guitarist/composer Francis Kleynjans' prodigious outpouring of music for guitar, It is a slow, sad and reflective work in G minor with the usual trademark of this writer where an agreeable tune is played over gentle, lilting arpeggio patterns. The 'etude' in the title may refer to the fact that this melodic line has to be well projected over the harmonisations. That's about it really; Belletude, which only takes up two of the four-pages is a pleasant. albeit, sad, short excursion and is suitable for the Grade 4 player. As is the norm from this publishing company, the visual presentation of the score is excellent.
