Ronaldd Nascimento Felipe was born in 1993, in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil and moved to Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, in 1995, where he began to study music.
His first contact with music occurred when he was 10, under his mother’s influence, starting with the piano at Instituto Carlos Alberto Werneck; in 2006 he had drum lessons with Yuri Garrido and in the following years learned how to play the electric guitar with Guilherme de Siervi, initiating his compositon path.
In 2011, Ronaldd was invited to work as a musical director, composer and performer in a theatre company, extending this experience for the next 2 years, which allowed him to compose several works. In August 2013, he moved to Viana do Castelo, Portugal, where he began studying symphonic percussion with Jean-François Lézé and started to write his first works for orchestra, chamber music and other ensembles. From this year onwards, he has participated in masterclasses with Jean Geoffroy, José Pina and Michalis Kontaxakis.
Never forgetting his roots, Ronaldd had private classical guitar lessons in Viana do Castelo with professor Francisco Gomes, from 2015 to 2017, preparing himself to enter in one of the most acclaimed classical guitar classes in Portugal, at the University of Évora with professors Dejan Ivanovic and Gonçalo Gouveia. In his academic path, he had orchestration classes with the composer, conductor and professor Christopher Bochmann.
