Samba de Parabéns

I wrote Samba de Parabéns (Birthday’s Samba) for the 60^th birthday of Odair Assad with whom I had the privilege to study during several years.

This work was premiered on November 26^th, 2016 at the Studio Dada (Brussels, Belgium) by former students of this Brazilian master. I would like to thank my friend Sophie Sandront without whom this project wouldn’t have been possible, as well as Françoise-Emmanuelle Denis who made this party a wonderful success.
