Roumania

This is really good fun to play. The writing is rather quirky with a whole battery of percussive effects adding to the style of the writing. The piece is built using 15 variations. The music is not easy to perform and would really be heard best from a professional performance, an obvious statement but I'm trying to say that this music needs skilled players who can communicate the wit and charm in the piece. Under those circumstances this would prove to be a very worthwhile work.
