Pat Coldrick has been playing and studying Classical guitar since the age of 12 and has performed with many top professional artists and orchestras in Ireland. His session work and classical appearances have earned him a reputation for being one of the finest and most versatile guitarists in the World.
As well as his touring performances he has appeared on numerous National Radio and Television stations throughout the world and has achieved critical acclaim for his unique, sensitive and expressive style in his playing and compositions.
With two albums to his credit, his first “Cayendo” includes  a mix of original compositions and arrangements  most notably “The Lament” as well as some of the great masterpieces from the guitar repetoire.
What makes Pat Coldrick stand out is his ability as a composer to reach out and make a connection with the listener. This is very evident in his first album and especialy his latest album “Cityjam” which again showcases many of his own compositions. On this album he has taken the Classical Guitar to another level introducing new techniques while embracing and experimenting with modern technology which he deems as “modern ensemble”
Pat’s skilful and atmospheric connection with his audience is an art form in itself and is a total contrast to the more formal approach to Classical performances. His easy going, laid back and unassuming approach combined with his interaction with the audience has won him a huge worldwide following and puts the listener at ease with his “entertaining” rather than “educating” delievery of his music. His compositions and interpretations, unique style and phrasing combined with superb artistry results in a rare ability to make his audience laugh, yet equally move them to tears. His focus is always to allow and enhance the spirit and emotion in every piece which enables the listener to connect with the music and paint many pictures in their minds.
