Loris Ohannes Chobanian is professor of composition and guitar at Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory and teaches lute at Oberlin College Conservatory. He combines his abilities as a successful composer of symphonic music with an intimate knowledge of the guitar through extensive experience in concerts and on TV. Chobanian is the recipient of many ASCAP awards and of The Cleveland Arts Prize for 1981.
