CHANDONNET Jacques

Jacques Chandonnet devoted more than four decades to teaching the guitar at l'École de musique de l'Université Laval and in the Département de musique du Cégep de Sainte-Foy in Quebec. He performed countless times as a soloist, chamber musician or musical director in different formations. Member of the Trio de guitare Laval, of the Trio de guitare de Québec and also the duo "Chandonnet-Gagnon", he participated in many concert tours in Canada, the United States and Europe. A few hundred transcriptions (solos, duos, trios, and ensembles) attest to his remarkable contribution to the enrichment of the guitar repertoire. Interpreted in concert or used for pedagogical purposes, many titles of this important production are published at Doberman-Yppan Editions and Les Productions d'OZ.
