Description
Born in 1982, Vincent Beer Demander appears to be one of the main mandolonists of his generation. After studying with Florentino Calvo (mandolin), Regis Campo ( composition) as well as with master Alberto Ponce (chamber music), he has quickly accumulated many diplomas and awards in France (various prices from the national music conservatories of Marseilles, Toulouse, Argenteuil, Padova, École Normale de Musique de Paris / State diploma of ancient music) but also abroad. Versatile musician, he has performed all over the world solo or besides renown musicians such as Mike Marshall, Roland Dyens, Ricardo Sandoval, The National Orchester of France, Lorraine, Montpellier, Paris and the Opera of Paris, Toulouse, Nancy, Toulon. Composer with multiple influences, his music is regularly played, recorded and has many time been commissioned by official institutions such as the city of Argenteuil, The International Festival of Logrono(Spain), the C.R.R. of Marseille... He also teaches at the National Conservatory of Marseille as well as at the academy of mandolin of Marseilles where he is the art director. He also runs since its creation in 2002 the International festival "Mandol'in Ariege" with Grégory Morello (Duo Chitarrone).
