Marked as a Tempo de Valse Lente this little (3' 20«) item is very melodic, quite difficult in some of its figuration and has plenty of «moments« throughout that need careful attention to detail when playing. To its credit there is little of the um-ching type of waltz accompaniment that a lesser composer might end up putting in his second part, and therefore the musical material moves around going from part to part, and generally being interesting to play. This is (...) quite a pleasant diversion for a few minutes and as such it might prove to be exactly what your duo might be looking for! Chris Dumigan (Classical Guitar Magazine)
